PROCARIBE+ outputs are structured under 4 technical Project Components andassociated Outcomes. In total, 18 Project Outputs will be generated.

An overview of the full set of PROCARIBE+ Outcomes and Outputs is given below. This overview can also be used to easily navigate through the PROCARIBE+ website, to each corresponding Output Page.

These Output Pages are currently under development. The intention of these pages is to provide specific information on the work being planned and conducted, and on the results being achieved.

A detailed pdf version of the Outcomes & Outputs table, including targets and metrics,  can be obtained here

Outcome 4.2Increased regional and global impacts from GEF IW investments through global dissemination and sharing of experiences, and by forging synergies with other Regional Seas/LME/Regional Fisheries programmes and the wider community of International Waters/Ocean practitioners & stakeholders
  • Output

Global experience sharing in collaboration with GEF IW:LEARN and other international partners in collaboration with GEF IW: LEARN

PROCARIBE+ will pay due attention to the following cross-cutting considerations:

  • Gender equality and empowerment of women and youth
  • Rights of and benefits for indigenous people groups and local communities
  • Social and environmental safeguards
  • Robustness of the project’s solutions in the face of climate change, and enhanced socio-ecological resilience

As can be seen from the table, PROCARIBE+ contemplates both regional-level activities, in which all CLME+ countries will be able to participate (e.g. through the Ocean Coordination Mechanism, OCM), as well as a large array of “on-the-ground” activities that will be implemented in the project’s GEF-eligible participating countries.

Many of these country-level activities will be complemented by enabling activities and/or the exchange of best practices and lessons learned, engaging and benefiting the wider set of PROCARIBE+ participating countries and the CLME+ region as a whole, as well as the global community of ocean practitioners.
